Maintaining a consistent brand identity across all your digital assets is crucial for building trust and recognition with your audience. One of the most impactful ways to achieve this is using custom fonts. In this post, we’ll explore how to add custom fonts to Kajabi, ensuring your online courses, landing pages, and websites align perfectly with your brand’s visual style.

Why Use Custom Fonts?

Custom fonts on your website can significantly enhance your brand’s personality and user experience. Not only do they make your content more engaging, but they also help in creating a cohesive look across all your marketing materials.

Can I Upload a Custom Font to Kajabi?

Yes, Kajabi allows you to upload custom fonts, enabling you to tailor your site to match your brand’s unique style.

How to Import Your Custom Font into Kajabi

Importing your custom font into Kajabi is a straightforward process:

  1. Choose Your Font: Select a custom font that reflects your brand identity. Ensure you have the legal right to use it. Note, if you’re using fonts from Canva you can’t download them from there. Some fonts are free online, if not you’ll need to purchase the license. Some sites you can check for fonts include – DaFont, FontSpace and MyFonts.
  2. Ensure Correct Format: To upload to Kajabi your font needs to be in a .ttf, .eot, or .woff2 format. It will not work for .otf files.
  3. Upload to Kajabi: Access your site’s theme editor and upload the font files to the ‘Assets’ section.

For Step 3, you must set up the Assets section by creating an unpublished/draft landing page.

Once you have created the page you can upload your fonts by setting up CTA buttons for each font you want to upload. Then choose ‘download file’ as the ‘button action’ to upload the font file.

Continue this process until all your fonts have been uploaded. Now you can use these fonts throughout your website and landing pages.

How Do I Change the Font on My Kajabi Landing Page?

If you only want to change fonts on individual landing pages you can do this in the settings of the specific page you want to change. This involves:

  1. Opening your landing page and navigating to ‘Settings’ then ‘Custom Code’
  2. Enter the code for each of the heading types you want to update. Refer to this article on Kajabi to copy and paste the codes. Note, that the code varies depending on the file type.
  3. Once you’ve added the codes for each heading style – h1, h2, h3 etc. go to ‘style guide’ to adjust any sizes if needed. This is also a way you can set different sizes for your main paragraph/body font. Set h6 to the body font and then you can do that in a bigger size than your standard body font.

Showcasing Your Custom Font

Ensure your custom font is displayed prominently across key parts of your site, including headers, body text, and call-to-action buttons, to maximise its impact on your brand’s visual appeal.

How Do I Change the Font Style For My Whole Site in Kajabi?

If you would like to change the style across your whole website to ensure consistency and so you don’t have to keep redoing this process, this can be done in ‘Site Settings’. The process:

  1. Go to ‘Settings’ then ‘Site Details’
  2. Scroll down to ‘Page Scripts’
  3. In the ‘Header Scripts’ box, copy the codes you set on your landing page if you already did it. The only difference you need to make in this section is to add </style> to the beginning and end of the font script.

Should I Use Custom Fonts on My Website?

Absolutely. Custom fonts are a powerful tool for reinforcing your brand identity and setting your site apart from competitors.

Adding custom fonts to your Kajabi site is essential in crafting a unique and cohesive brand identity. By following the steps outlined above, you can enhance the visual appeal of your site, improve user experience, and strengthen your brand’s presence in the digital space.
