Life is like a box of chocolates, and the importance of being humble.

You never know what you’re going to get in life (unless you’re really good at vibrating what you want) and that’s where the importance of being humble comes into play.

I’ve been listening to and watching various audios and videos recently, and the key message that keeps coming up is that of humility.

No to be mistaken with being passive or a pushover.

Instead, humble people are quite the opposite. They’re generally so confident and competent in themselves so much that they seek to help others. Humble people don’t feel the need to boast about themselves but instead, let their actions speak for their ideals. To be humble is not to think less of oneself, but to think of oneself less.

So why are these traits important in business (and life in general). Humility results in better connections with people, you’re more likely to provide value if you think less of the benefits you’ll receive, and more about how to help others. The more value you give, the more people will want to associate with you.

On the flip side, it’s also important to be humble when you need help. It’s ok not to know everything, it’s not ok to blame everyone and everything around you, for your weaknesses. Don’t be too proud to admit your flaws, nobody is perfect. The sooner you admit your weaknesses the sooner you can work on them to become successful. You and only YOU are in control, if you’re blaming everyone and everything around you, you need to stop!

Take responsibility, project into the world what you want, and it will happen.

Keeping it short and sweet today. Hope you’re all having a fabulous weekend.

Much Love

Jade xo
