Have you ever been so overcome by emotion that you just burst into tears?
I’m not talking tears of sadness (if you’ve read any of my earlier posts you’ll know I cried a lot of those last year).Ā No, I’m talking tears of pure joy.
Well if you haven’t, then I can guarantee you haven’t realised your true calling in life yet. That’s not a bad thing, but the sooner you find it, the greater your life will become. A little while ago I wrote about ‘finding your why’ and how you should reach a point of strong emotion once you realise what your why is.
Well that’s the sort of feeling I had again yesterday.
I was going about my normal day,Ā driving to work, when I happened to glance at my phone (oooh naughty – I know). When I looked at my phone I saw a number of new messages from people who have been following me and were thanking me for what I’ve been doing.
It was in that moment that I realised just how close I am to my dream of leaving my corporate job. I realised just how happy it makes me to connect with people and genuinely help them. I realised just how big and amazing this new venture is. And I burst into tears.
In the last few weeks I have come to understand just how important the mind is, and what we feed it really does matter. I’ve spent hours listening to positive affirmations, meditations, mindset training etc. Feeding my mind the good stuff. And let me tell you, once you feed your mind the good stuff, it’s so much easier to think and feel happy.Ā And then a major shift occurs and everything you’re aiming to achieve just happens and life feels great.
So I wanted to write about this to motivate you to do the same. If you are unsure about what you want in life, I ask you to go back and read my post on ‘finding your why’, because once you do find out WHY you’re here, your true reason for being, everything else just falls into place.
I hope everyone can experience the amazing feelings I’ve been enjoying lately.
I believe we can all experience absolute happiness. You just need to know where to look to find it.
